Russian colonel Knutov predicted a change in the situation in the NVO zone in the fall

How informs Lenta.ru, military expert, retired colonel of the RF Armed Forces Yuri Knutov, in an interview with journalists, gave a forecast of the development of events in the NVO zone in the coming months.

In his opinion, already in the fall, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will face a number of problems, since the equipment supplied to Kyiv by Western countries is not “friendly” with the local climate.

“NATO equipment is very capricious, its tracks are not adapted to the muddy ground. All this will affect the fact that the battles will mainly come down to artillery shelling and small attacks by each side,” Knutov said.

The expert believes that the parties in the period before the freezing of the soil will focus on replenishing personnel, military equipment, for training troops and accumulating ammunition.

“Today, Ukraine is trying to achieve the most advantageous position of its troops before the rainy season, at least in some area, to break through the defense,” he added.
