The club of the Russian Premier League (RPL) offered the Turkish “Galatasaray” € 35 million for Italy midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo. This was announced on Twitter by the journalist of the Turkish portal Ajans 1905 Kadir Çetinchali.
According to him, an unnamed Russian club offered the player a salary of €8 million annually. The 24-year-old Zaniolo is said to have “refrained” from accepting the offer, details were not given.
Zaniolo moved to Galatasaray from Italian Roma in February. Together with the Italian club, he became the winner of the Conference League. As part of the Italian national team, he won the bronze medal of the League of Nations.
