According to the chess player, she began to feel unwell 6 years ago. “And only in May 2023 I was diagnosed… all the tests were borderline. Lupus mimics various diseases,” Gunina explained.
The athlete also shared a description of the symptoms of the disease. According to the girl, a person always seems to be sick and constantly falls asleep. At the same time, Gunina emphasized, it is important to force yourself to move, because after just one day in bed it is very difficult to get up.
On December 30, Gunina won the World Blitz Championship. She received her first title in 2012.
