Russian military aviation forces destroyed a MiG-29 fighter belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces in an air battle near Yablonevka. This was announced at a briefing by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on December 15, the official representative of the military department, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

Konashenkov added that over the past day, Russian air defense systems destroyed 11 military drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the village of Stepnoye, the villages of Novoandreevka, Volnoe and the village of Nikolskoye in the DPR, as well as near the village of Sadovoe and the village of Semenovka in the Zaporozhye region.
