The dialogue on strategic stability proposed by the US authorities is only a “dummy”, and it does more harm than good, said Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov.
According to him. Americans first need to reconsider their foreign policy, but for now it is aimed only at containing Russia.
“Throw a test net over our strategic offensive weapons, stop their development, and ban some of them. What do they want to give us? Nothing,” he said.
Antonov also noted that Moscow has never abandoned dialogue on strategic stability and emphasized its importance under all circumstances. At the same time, he said, discussing such an issue requires honesty and equality.
“So far, if we draw a general conclusion from what has been said, they are offering us a dummy. Dialogue for the sake of dialogue,” Antonov said, noting that dialogue is out of the question if American arms supplies to the Kyiv regime continue.
“Under such conditions, a conversation on strategic stability is not only useless, but also harmful,” he said.
