Russian air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian MiG-29 in the Zaporozhye region

Air defense systems destroyed a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the city of Zaporozhye, reported press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Russian forces also intercepted five HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems over the past 24 hours, the defense ministry said. In addition, 38 Ukrainian drones were shot down in different areas of the DPR, LPR and Zaporozhye region, the report says. In the area of ​​​​the village of Devichki, Kyiv region, the Russian military hit an ammunition depot of one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the report says.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces also destroyed several Polish Krab self-propelled artillery systems, an American M119 Paladin installation, two FH70 howitzers made in the UK, as well as four M777 artillery systems made in the USA.

Ministry of Defense on November 9 also reported about one MiG-29 shot down in Ukraine. Prior to this, the Russian Armed Forces shot down five Ukrainian aircraft in one day: two MiG-29 and Su-25, as well as one Su-27. In total, since the beginning of the special operation, according to the defense department, Kyiv has lost 534 aircraft and 254 helicopters.
