Air defense systems destroyed a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the city of Zaporozhye, reported press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Russian forces also intercepted five HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems over the past 24 hours, the defense ministry said. Ministry of Defense on November 9 also reported about one MiG-29 shot down in Ukraine. Prior to this, the Russian Armed Forces shot down five Ukrainian aircraft in one day: two MiG-29 and Su-25, as well as one Su-27.
