The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) carried out high-precision airstrikes against terrorist targets located in the Idlib de-escalation zone in Syria, said Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in the SAR.

“As a result of the strikes, a mobile multiple launch rocket system on a pickup truck and five attack unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. Two control points and two underground shelters of illegal armed groups, five warehouses with weapons and ammunition were hit. More than 10 militants have been eliminated,” he said, emphasizing that militants from radical groups continue to attempt to attack targets in Syria using drones and MLRS.

The Center added that nine shellings of Syrian army positions by militants of the terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra and others, banned in Russia, were recorded in this zone, as well as several shellings in other provinces.

11 October Israel Defense Forces reported about launching an artillery strike on Syrian territory in response to missiles launched from there. They did not name the number of rockets launched, noting that some of them reached Israeli territory and fell in open areas.
