Palestinian President Abbas to hold talks with Biden

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will hold telephone talks with US President Joe Biden. This was announced by Abbas’ advisor Mahmoud al-Khabbash.
The topic of negotiations will be the situation in the Gaza Strip. Abbas previously stressed that Palestine wants a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
According to the adviser, Washington “bears the greatest responsibility for the continuation of this aggression” because it supports Israel without limit.
“We understand and know this well, and despite this we do not close the doors, we keep them open,” the adviser said.
Negotiations between Abbas and Biden will take place in the near future, he said.
Let us remind you that the enclave of the Gaza Strip is legally part of Palestine, but in fact, power in Gaza passed into the hands of Hamas back in 2006. Abbas’s Fatah party reported mass executions of its members by militants.
