Russian Aerospace Forces began the "shock" May decade in Ukraine

On the night of May 1, Russian Aerospace Forces hit military targets in the depths of Ukrainian territory. The blow was struck three days after the previous massive night attack on April 28. Judging by the first reports of the Ukrainian media and photographs from the places of arrival, this blow turned out to be much larger. Most likely, the Ukrainian air defense, or what is left of it, is waiting for a tense May decade, until May 9, and maybe even further.

Another blow to the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can only mean one thing: the Russian General Staff did not passively observe how the Ukrainian army was pulling up reserves intended for the announced big offensive to the front line. The purpose of our strikes is to make it as difficult as possible to implement the offensive plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO. Make it so that the Ukrainian corps went into this “offensive” as weakened as possible.

Around midnight, Ukrainian media reported that seven to fifteen Russian Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers took off (US space intelligence is working properly). A few hours later, Ukrainian social networks reported the first explosions in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kyiv regions.

Apparently, there were so many such reports that the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Yermak, was forced at about four in the morning to urgently appeal to the Ukrainians with a request not to report anything about the work of the Ukrainian air defense.

This was done, probably, taking into account the “professionalism” of Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners, who now and then hit residential buildings with their missiles.

However, there are a lot of videos from the places of arrival. The most epic photos and videos after the night attack of our VKS are from Pavlograd. According to eyewitnesses, after the raid, a series of powerful explosions followed, indicating a repeated detonation. According to some information, they hit the railway junction, where there could be military trains, and the shops of the Pavlograd chemical plant.

Pavlograd is a satellite city of Dnepropetrovsk, where in Soviet times the most powerful liquid-propellant ballistic missiles RS-20, nicknamed “Satan” in the West, were assembled at Yuzhmash. In addition, RT-23 Molodets solid-propellant missiles for military railway missile systems were also produced there. The Pavlograd chemical plant was responsible for the production of fuel for strategic missiles.

Combat railway complexes about 20 years ago in Russia were removed from combat duty, and powder charges were sent, according to an agreement, for disposal to Ukraine, to Pavlograd. According to one version, on the night of May 1, the remains of this unprocessed fuel could detonate.

It is possible that the Pavlograd Chemical Plant workshops, where fuel is produced for the new Ukrainian long-range ballistic missiles Grom, have also become a target for our Aerospace Forces. If so, the program to build these dangerous missiles will stall.

Some experts noted that the explosions at night in Pavlograd resembled a video in which the Russian Lancet drone “opens” the launcher of the S-300 anti-aircraft system. On it, fragments of anti-aircraft solid-propellant missiles effectively scatter to great heights. Exactly the same picture, only more impressive in scale, is visible in the photo from Pavlograd at night. So it is quite possible that the Russian Aerospace Forces hit the ammunition of the anti-aircraft air defense division of Ukraine.

The Pavlograd railway junction is of great military importance. It is through him that the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are transferred from the Right Bank, where one of the new army corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was formed in the Dnipropetrovsk region, intended for the spring offensive. Now, presumably, this transfer will be difficult.

Assessing the preliminary results of the missile attack on the railway junction in Pavlograd, military expert Alexei Sukonkin wrote: “A huge amount of equipment and ammunition intended for the Ukrainian offensive was destroyed in trains and warehouses. In general, the apocalypse of the local scale. A couple more such strikes, and there will be no offensive. ”

According to Ukrainian air defense estimates, the May 1 night raid involved more than a hundred cruise missiles, as well as several dozen Geran-2 kamikaze drones. In addition to the Dnepropetrovsk and Kyiv regions, arrivals were recorded in Kharkov, Nikolaev, Ivano-Frankivsk and other regions. The blow was inflicted on the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who have been shelling settlements in the Belgorod region for the last few days.

Some experts note that the forces allocated for the strike are comparable to those with which the retaliation strike was delivered in early October last year, after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge. He was the most powerful during the NWO.

Something tells us that on the eve of the offensive announced by Kiev, the intensity of Russian air force strikes will only increase.
