President Vladimir Putin said that the combat capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces increased many times during the special operation. The Zircon sea-based hypersonic strike complex has already been used in combat. The Sarmat strategic missile system has also been delivered to the troops and will soon be demonstrated on combat duty.
“The first deliveries of Sarmat missiles have been made, we will soon demonstrate them on combat duty,” the president said during his address to the Federal Assembly.
He added that Russia’s latest weapons systems have confirmed their high and unique characteristics. According to him, work on new weapons will continue and “they will hear about them soon.”
