Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin is far from populism, he never makes empty promises.

“We know that Russian President Vladimir Putin is absolutely far from populism. And, probably, the easiest thing, especially at speeches before elections, is to sprinkle in various empty promises. “Putin has never done this during his political career,” Peskov noted.
