Russia lost billions of dollars for oil sales in September

In September 2022, Russian oil exports fell by 230 thousand barrels per day to 7.5 million barrels. In turn, revenues from the sale of raw materials fell by $3.2 billion to $15.3 billion.
Such data are given in the report of the International Energy Agency (IEA). The document says that, compared with August, Russian oil supplies to the European Union fell by 390,000 barrels per day, TASS reports.
Exports of raw materials may fall even more after new EU oil sanctions against Russia come into force in December, but the possible volume of the reduction is not specified.
Earlier it became known that in December the European Union’s ban on the import of Russian oil, which is delivered by sea, will begin to work.
