Russia has proposed tightening requirements for the transportation of children
[ad_1]
The requirements for child restraints in our country are planned to be tightened. The head of the government commission on traffic safety, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to work on this issue against the backdrop of an increase in the number of accidents involving children. reports “Kommersant”.
The cost of surrogate devices – correctors and seat belt adapters – is now significantly lower than their certified counterparts. In order to stop the mass purchase of surrogates by motorists, parliamentarians together with the traffic police are already working on amendments to the traffic rules. It is expected that this will eliminate the possibility of using any substitute car seats under threat of fines.
Roskachestvo shares this position, since surrogates for child restraints are dangerous.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade, according to the publication, must submit its proposals to the Cabinet by November 15.
The rules for transporting children in a car were approved on July 12, 2017. They operate unchanged in the Russian Federation to this day.
