The authorities of the Kaliningrad region called the call of the Estonian authorities to the Russians not to visit the territory of the republic “a manifestation of genocide”. This was reported to RIA Novosti in the press service of the Governor of the Kaliningrad region Dmitry Lyskov.
Earlier, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that Estonia, as well as Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, from September 19, prohibit the entry of Russians with Schengen visas, including those issued by other countries.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic said that the call to the Russians is: “Do not come to Estonia with Schengen visas, you are not welcome here.”
Lyskov noted that the authorities of the above countries did not explain the procedure for closing the entry to the Russians, naming only the date the ban began to operate.
“And Reinsalu’s statement is a manifestation of genocide, there is no other way to call it,” the governor said.
