Social networks and instant messengers began to be used by drug dealers in Russia. This was reported in the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, they pointed out that cases of advertising such products are isolated and are quickly suppressed. The security forces carry out active preventive work.
But the dealers began to massively involve people in the distribution of drugs. Job advertisements are posted on social networks with attractive conditions. In private messages, the “employer” says that he is looking for a courier, a driver and a “personnel officer”. From further dialogue it becomes clear that the “work” is illegal.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the Main Directorate for Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is engaged in countering drug trafficking, as well as suppressing their propaganda. Employees of the department identify and eliminate information that advertises online stores and other places selling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev criticized the Ministry of Internal Affairs after information appeared on the Internet about the alleged mass distribution of QR codes in public places that lead to the pages of drug dealers on the dark web.
