The words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny about the deadlock at the front are connected primarily with the failure of Kyiv’s offensive, Alexey Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, explained to Lenta.ru.
“His statement suggests that the so-called counter-offensive has completely failed,” the Russian parliamentarian is confident. According to the deputy, they are trying to find some explanation for the failure. “In a large number of positions, NATO weapons are inferior to ours,” says Chepa. “This indicates a complete failure of the US plans for a counter-offensive.” In his opinion, Zaluzhny, with his statements, wants to get new American weapons.
The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in an interview with The Economist magazine that the conflict had reached a dead end. In his opinion, the Ukrainian military cannot achieve a breakthrough due to a lack of technology and a “sharp leap” in this direction is needed.
