On November 1, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 139 shells into the Belgorod region. About it reported regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

The largest number of arrivals was recorded in the Belgorod district – 62. The Valuysk urban district was shelled 36 times. In both cases there was no destruction or casualties.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also fired 26 shells at the Shebekinsky urban district. As a result of the shelling of Shebekino, a man was injured and received shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs. The victim was operated on, he remains in intensive care in an extremely serious unstable condition, Gladkov clarified. In addition, as a result of the shelling, destruction was discovered on the territory of two enterprises, and two cars were damaged.

Nine arrivals were recorded in the Grayvoronsky urban district, and six in the Borisov district. In all cases there was no destruction or casualties.

In addition, during the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped two fragmentation munitions using drones on Novaya Tavolzhanka and Sereda. Another four Ukrainian aircraft-type drones were shot down.

On October 31, about 100 arrivals from Ukraine were recorded in the region. Also, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, using drones, dropped four explosive devices on the villages of Solntsevka and Murom in one day. Another drone was shot down by air defense in the Grayvoronsky urban district above the Masychevo farmstead.

The Belgorod region, like other border regions, is regularly attacked by Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region. The region is also at an indefinite “yellow” (high) terrorism alert level.
