During the negotiations in Moscow, the delegations of the Russian Federation and the DPRK discussed issues of direct air communication between the countries. The parties are ready to resume charter flights for tourist groups, said the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Alexander Kozlov.
According to him, “tourist flows will be formed and charter flights will be opened for them.” Kozlov emphasized that we are talking about the resumption of charter flights, but not regular flights.
On February 9, the first group of tourists from Russia went to the DPRK after a four-year pandemic break. The guests visited Pyongyang and the North Korean ski resort Masikryong.
