Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian had a telephone conversation. The parties discussed the situation in and around the Gaza Strip, as well as in the Red Sea. About it reported in the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“On January 9, at the initiative of the Iranian side, Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It is noted that Lavrov also expressed condolences in connection with the death at the hands of terrorists of civilians in Kerman, who came to honor the memory of General Qassem Soleimani.
