Russia and China signed a construction cooperation plan for 2024

In Beijing, Glavgosexpertiza of Russia and the Chinese Association for Cost Management of Construction Works agreed on cooperation for the next year, reported in the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Association “National Association of Builders“(NOSTROY) also signed an agreement with the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering.
The signed documents involve joint research in the field of pricing and cost rationing, cost engineering and expert consulting. The agreements also provide for the exchange of experience in terms of innovative technologies.
“After the legislative establishment in our country of a mechanism for the almost barrier-free use of foreign standards in the near future, we plan to more actively apply and adapt the advanced solutions of our Chinese colleagues,” said Sergei Muzychenko, a member of the Russian delegation, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation. He added that the PRC’s experience in the design and operation of facilities made from modular structures will also be studied.
Plans for 2024 include the exchange of experience within the framework of a forum for young scientists in the field of geotechnics and underground construction, as well as a project competition for students of construction universities. Russian-Chinese educational congresses on urban construction are planned.
On March 21, Chinese President Xi Jinping made an official visit to Russia, where he had a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The heads of state spoke about energy, industry, logistics and Ukraine. Putin said that Russia is ready to support Chinese business in replacing Western enterprises that have left Russia. Xi responded that “with common efforts, Chinese-Russian relations are demonstrating a healthy and sustainable dynamic of development”: “Political mutual trust between our countries is deepening, common interests are increasing, peoples are drawing closer together, cooperation in trade, economics, investment, energy, cultural and humanitarian fields is steadily developing.” and interregional dimensions.”
