Rugby players of Russia will play the “White Sea Cup”

Russian rugby players will compete for the White Sea Cup. Men’s rugby teams from several Russian cities will meet at the Lichutina sports complex on February 4 at 12:00.
This year, Arkhangelsk will host a three-day Rugby Weekend rugby festival, which will include a judges’ seminar to obtain a license to become a judge, the White Sea Cup on the snow among men’s teams, and the beach rugby festival among children’s teams “Cold Dunes”.
The geography of the White Sea Cup teams has expanded this year. Teams from Moscow and St. Petersburg, Bryansk and, of course, Arkhangelsk will come to compete for the victory. Entrance to the competition will be free. More information about the competition can be found in the group link.
Recall that there are three rugby teams in Arkhangelsk: men’s, women’s and children’s. The men’s team has existed since 2017. It was created by an initiative group of young people from Arkhangelsk. The women’s and children’s teams were created quite recently – in 2021.
The organizer of the Rugby Weekend festival is the Rugby Federation of the Arkhangelsk Region.
