On August 6, the match of the 2nd round of the PARI-Russian Rugby Championship will be played by Khimik from Dzerzhinsk. The team, which started a week ago in the second season of the elite division of Russian rugby, started the championship, like a year ago, with a match against Lokomotiv Penza. If in the 2022-2023 season Khimik started the championship with Lokomotiv, which was in the status of a silver medalist, then a week ago the black-greens lost to the current champion of Russia with a score of 31:13.
In the second round of the PARI-Russian Championship, the Khimik rugby club will go to Krasnoyarsk. There, Yuri Krasnobaev’s wards will play against Krasnoyarsk “Yenisei-STM” – the silver medalist of the last season, which before that for several years in a row did not allow anyone to reach the champion title. For the team from Krasnoyarsk, the fight against RK Khimik will be the first in the 2023-2024 season.
The match “Yenisei-STM” (Krasnoyarsk) – “Khimik” (Dzerzhinsk) will be held on August 7. The start of the match is scheduled for 16:00.
