Rugby club “Khimik” from Dzerzhinsk on August 7 held a match of the 2nd round of the PARI-Russian Rugby Championship. In the opening match of the season, “Khimik” put up a worthy resistance to the current champion of Russia – Penza “Locomotive”, losing with a score of 31:13.
The match in Krasnoyarsk was very similar to the 1st round match. “Khimik” performed well in the first half of the meeting and lagged behind “Yenisei-STM” by only 2 points, but in the second 40 minutes of the match “iron machine” took its toll, making several attempts and making the score big. “Khimik” lost to the silver medalist of last season with a score of 47:17.
