Only two weeks remain before the start of the new season in the PARI-Russian Rugby Championship, where the Nizhny Novgorod region is represented by Khimik from Dzerzhinsk. The black-greens made their debut in the elite division of Russian rugby last season, it turned out to be unsuccessful. “Khimik” took the last place, becoming the worst team in the championship in all respects, the team from Dzerzhinsk did not score a single point.
The leadership of the RK “Khimik” back in May announced that the team would remain in the elite division, which happened. The players of the RK “Khimik” came out of vacation, underwent a medical examination and began to train on the natural lawn of the small sports arena “Khimik”. There are 2 weeks left before the start of the PARI-Championship of Russia.
In the match of the 1st round, rugby players from the Nizhny Novgorod region will go to Penza. There “Khimik” will play against the reigning champion of Russia – the Penza “Locomotive”, interrupted the dominance of “Yenisei-STM”.
