The decision to disqualify Andrei Rublev was announced by the tournament supervisor, explaining that the line judge understood Russian. In a conversation with the supervisor, the tennis player also used an obscene word, they reported “News”. As a result of the disqualification, Andrei Rublev lost all earned prize money and ranking points. He dropped to sixth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings.
