Columnist for the Russia Today (RT) TV channel from Germany, Dagmar Henn, has received temporary asylum in Russia. About it reported official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk. According to her, the woman does not plan to return to Germany because she is not sure of her safety.

The RT website says that Dagmar Henn is a columnist and co-author of the book “Honest Donbass.” As a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said, Dagmar Henn came to Russia in May 2022 at the invitation of the RT television channel to work in a news service in German. She writes and edits materials about the political and economic situation in Germany.

In February, Dagmar Henn requested temporary asylum in Russia. The document was handed to the columnist personally by the head of the department for refugees, temporary asylum and forced migrants of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, Alexey Zhurin.

In March, the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region promised provide temporary asylum in Russia to Canadian emigrant Arenda Feinstru, his wife and eight children, even if they do not pass the Russian language test.
