The Volga team’s head coach was dissatisfied with the performance of his players. Sergei Popkov added that the players were unable to fully implement the game plan.
“Krasnodar-2 has a fast and technical team, so we didn’t meet them at the top, we built defensive redoubts in our half of the field and wanted to play as number two,” explained the blue-blue coach. – At first it worked, we scored a goal. Then we played a lot without the ball, didn’t cover the opponent’s shots and conceded twice.
Sergei Popkov also had questions for the judge. According to him, no obvious penalty was awarded in favor of Rotor.
Now Rotor is in 6th place with 17 points. The blue-blues will play their next match at home against Volga Ulyanovsk.
