The Federal Service for Labor and Employment in its Telegram channel published a memo for Russians about holidays in 2023. It is noted that a long weekend awaits Russian citizens in the coming February.
So, as noted in the department, the New Year holidays will last from January 1 to January 8, the holidays in honor of the Defender of the Fatherland Day – from February 23 to 26, the celebration of International Women’s Day will only be on March 8, the Spring and Labor Day will be held from April 29 to 1 May, Victory Day – from May 6 to 9, Russia Day – from June 10 to 12, and National Unity Day – from November 4 to 6.
Earlier, Rostrud reminded the Russians that for going to work on a holiday, an employee is entitled to double pay or an additional day of rest.
