The authorities of the Rostov region issued a statement in which it is not recommended to celebrate Halloween in schools and other educational organizations, since this is not included in the federal calendar plan for educational work.
“The federal calendar plan for educational work does not provide for holding such events as Halloween, Pumpkin Rescue and others in educational institutions. Therefore, it is not recommended to celebrate them,” says a statement from the Ministry of Regional Policy and Mass Communications, as cited by TASS.
The authorities of Yakutia, Chita, and Krasnodar previously recommended not to hold Halloween in schools. The wives of the Samara military demanded that Halloween be banned. After this, some schools began to hold an analogue of Halloween – Pumpkin Spas. Such a holiday, for example, was held by Izhevsk school No. 16. At the Sergeiko Krasnodar gymnasium, they decided to hold “Good Pumpkin Day” and donate the proceeds to the Russian army.
