Information about the leak of the database of users of the portal “Gosuslugi” is a fake, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the company-administrator of the portal “Rostelecom“.
“Some Telegram channels distribute screenshots of the allegedly leaked database of users of the State Services portal. We inform you that these publications are another fake, ”the message says.
Earlier, information appeared in Telegram channels that hackers had made publicly available data from the Unified Identification and Authentication System (ESIA) of Gosuslug.
In early October, Vedomosti wrote that the Ministry of Digital Transformation had finalized a bill on turnover fines for personal data leaks. According to the document, it is proposed to introduce a fine of 200,000 to 400,000 rubles. for executives of a company that leaked data from 10,000 to 100,000 subjects. For individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, the fine for a similar incident will be 0.02% of the turnover, but not less than 1 million rubles.
