Rostec announced the testing of new Kalashnikov drones in battles in Ukraine

State Corporation Rostec stated “RIA News”that new reconnaissance and attack drones from the Kalashnikov concern are undergoing combat testing in the war zone in Ukraine.
The company added that based on the results of tests in Ukraine, if necessary, the drones will be modified. After this, a decision will be made on serial production, the agency reports.
At the beginning of 2023, Kalashnikov called its priority is the production of kamikaze drones KUB. In February, RIA Novosti reportedthat Russian special forces are using a new reconnaissance and strike system with small kamikaze drones. At a meeting with Rostec head Sergei Chemezov in August, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed increase production of Lancet kamikaze drones.
