Rosstat announced that they would stop publishing up-to-date information on deaths in Russia from coronavirus.
They noted that mortality from COVID declined at a significant pace throughout the summer. So in June this year, it fell by 81.7% compared to the same period in 2021, and in July by 93.6%.
At the same time, the number of deaths of people who have been identified with COVID is much lower than the death rate from cancer and diseases of the circulatory and digestive systems, as well as due to metabolic disorders.
At the same time, in 2023, Rosstat will publish information on the number of deaths in 2022, indicating the reasons.
