Rospotrebnadzor lifted restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 for shops and catering

Rospotrebnadzor lifted a number of restrictions that were in place due to the coronavirus, including an enhanced disinfection regime in catering establishments and stores. This is stated in resolution chief sanitary doctor Anna Popova dated May 15, which was published on June 6.
Also cancelled:
- mandatory medical supervision of Chinese citizens or those returning from there;
- mandatory testing for COVID-19 for residents of the Amur Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Khabarovsk, Primorsky and Trans-Baikal Territories;
- conducting laboratory tests for the virus for people who returned from Europe and presented with symptoms of a cold.
The Ministry of Health is also no longer required to have enough consumables needed to conduct laboratory tests for COVID-19, as well as disinfectants and personal protective equipment.
In addition, a decree was canceled that allowed the regions to independently establish a ban on holding mass events. However, they are still authorized to do so under the decree of President Vladimir Putin.
In Russia July 1, 2022 canceled all restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. From October Rosstat stopped publish operational data on deaths due to COVID-19. Since May 23, 2023, the Russian operational headquarters stopped publish daily data on COVID-19, statistics are now provided once a week on Tuesdays.
