The money paid by a Muscovite for a course of online seminars on promoting his own project was helped by employees of the Moscow Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).

The young man was seduced by an advertisement for online courses, the organizers of which promised that the training would help students successfully launch their own beauty project, find wealthy clients and become famous.

The price of training was considerable – 108 thousand rubles. But the quality of the courses turned out to be completely inconsistent with the cost. The young man did not learn anything new for himself and decided to return the money spent in vain.

The claim that the Muscovite wrote to the individual entrepreneur with whom he entered into an agreement remained unanswered, and then the young man filed a complaint with the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow.

“The department, in the interests of the applicant, filed a lawsuit with the court, which, in turn, fully satisfied the requirements. According to the court decision, the plaintiff was awarded a total of 130 thousand rubles, ”the Rospotrebnadzor reported.

The department also noted that a complaint to Rospotrebnadzor is the most effective way to return money for poor-quality services.

Meanwhile, there are other options. Read about them in our publication. How to get a refund for online courses.
