“The risks of importing the Alaskapox virus into the territory of the Russian Federation are excluded... Rosportebnadzor specialists are monitoring the situation at checkpoints across the state border,” the message says.
The department clarified that control is carried out using the Perimeter automated information system, which allows one to analyze and identify signs of infectious diseases in citizens arriving in Russia from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation.
