Rospotrebnadzor canceled questionnaires about coronavirus infection for citizens of the Russian Federation and foreigners arriving in Russia from abroad. The corresponding decree of the department of August 14 was published on the portal of legal information. This is confirmed by a message on the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency, which says that the mandatory questionnaire for COVID-19 for citizens arriving in Russia from abroad was canceled by the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation No. 10 dated August 8, 2023. Citizens arriving in Russia from abroad were required to submit questionnaires about COVID-19 in March 2022, at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Similar measures were introduced to ensure sanitary and quarantine control at checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation. “In order to promptly pass” such control, the decision of the chief sanitary doctor also contained a requirement to ensure filling out a questionnaire on the portal of public services. This paragraph of the document has now also been cancelled. The Federal Air Transport Agency also announced a change in the conditions for testing for COVID-19. From March 2020 until recently, such a procedure had to be carried out in the “complete testing” mode for people arriving from countries with a “deteriorating epidemiological situation”. Now, citizens arriving from such countries will be tested for coronavirus selectively, according to the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
