The Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Sverdlovsk region conducted an inspection after a group poisoning of children with alcohol in Pervouralsk. In particular, a study was conducted of the alcoholic products they drank. The cause of the poisoning was not drinks, but intoxication as a result of the ingress of alcohol-containing products into the children’s body, sums up the department of Rospotrebnadzor.
“An undeclared dye was found in the beer drink “Doctor Diesel Mango and Red Orange” (manufactured by Heineken United Breweries LLC),— informs department. This is the only discrepancy in terms of quality.
Proceedings are underway with the manufacturer of the drink, all the victims have been discharged from the hospital.
Information about the poisoning of children with alcohol in Pervouralsk was received by the police from an ambulance paramedic on the evening of July 6. They ended up in the hospital after drinking alcohol on the banks of a local pond. According to preliminary data, an adult friend bought for them more than 30 bottles of alcohol: beer, vodka, cognac and liquor, as well as one pack of cookies. In relation to the parents of the victims, it is planned to initiate administrative proceedings under Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (improper education of minors). Those who bought alcohol face an administrative case under Art. 6.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (involving minors in the use of alcohol).
