Roskomnadzor denied information about the use of the work of the Belarusian writer, Nobel laureate in literature Svetlana Alexievich in the early Unified State Examination in the Russian language 2024.

The department explained that the source of dissemination of such information was various private training resources for preparing for the exam. Monitoring of similar sites was carried out, on which Alexievich’s texts were actually found.

“Rosobrnadzor considers this situation as a deliberate provocation,” the press service added.

Earlier, news appeared in the media that a fragment of Alexievich’s work “The Chernobyl Prayer” was discovered in one of the options for the early Unified State Examination in the Russian language. The head of the State Duma committee, Nina Ostanina, addressed the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, with a demand to understand this situation and conduct an inspection. According to Ostanina, the writer’s texts reveal hatred of Russia and dislike of Belarus.
