The head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, in an interview with RIA Novosti, commented on calls to cancel the Unified State Exam (USE) in Russia. According to him, the exam has become more objective, information leaks have stopped, and there are no comments from experts regarding the conduct of the exam.
Muzaev emphasized that now even those who previously expressed dissatisfaction with the exam now recognize its objectivity.
He noted that there have been calls to cancel the exam since its introduction, but since 2013 there have been no cases of leaks and control over the exam has increased. Muzaev also added that most critics of the Unified State Exam do not propose a replacement for the examination system.
