Domestic Lancet drones are not supplied abroad due to the needs of the Russian army, said Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev, writes TASS.

“The Lancet also receives a lot of attention in the foreign market, but it is not supplied abroad due to the high need for it by the Russian Armed Forces and the lack of export permits,” Mikheev said at the Dubai Airshow 2023 International Aerospace Exhibition.

He noted that there is now an increase in the interest of foreign partners in Russian loitering ammunition; in particular, the company is promoting Kub-E in this segment.

In mid-September, industrial director of the arms complex of the Rostec state corporation Bekhan Ozdoev reportedthat the production of kamikaze drones “Cube” and “Lancet” will be increased several times. Rostec will also increase the production of “Grenades”, “Tachyons” and other drone models.

He also noted that the state corporation has doubled the production of high-precision weapons – Kitolov, Strela, Vikhr missiles, as well as 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missiles. At the same time, Rostec is developing new types of high-precision weapons.
