On August 6, divers and welders were preparing a patch for installation on a hole in a tanker. On the morning of August 7, specialists began to install it.
In addition, the outboard water is being pumped out of the ballast tanks and the engine room is being drained. A film of oil products formed after the damage to the tanker and not subject to collection was treated with a biosorbent, Rosmorrechflot noted.
On the night of August 5, the Sig tanker of the St. Petersburg shipping company Transpetrochart received hole in the engine room. The ship remained afloat, the crew took measures to deal with the consequences of the leak, no one was injured. Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, claimed in his Telegram channel that a civilian ship was attacked by Ukrainian maritime drones.
