Yury Borisov, Director General of the State Corporation Roscosmos, said that a decision had been made to postpone the launch of the Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft until the first ten days of March to test the thermal control system.
Roskosmos is rechecking the entire technological process of creating the Progress MS spacecraft, he also noted.
Earlier it was reported that a depressurization occurred in the coolant circuit of the Progress MS-21 cargo spacecraft, which has been docked to the ISS for several months. At the same time, Roscosmos noted that the situation is somewhat similar to what happened with the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft.
It was previously expected that the Soyuz MS-23 on February 20 will go to the ISS in an unmanned mode with cargo for the crew and pick up cosmonauts from the damaged Soyuz MS-22 Sergei Prokopiev, Dmitry Petelin and Frank Rubio from the station.
