Roskachestvo experts gave advice on how to avoid a hangover
Before the feast begins, you need to prepare your body, according to Roskachestvo experts. This is stated in the RIA Novosti material.
As noted, this will be helped by eating certain foods a couple of hours before drinking alcohol – potatoes, fatty fish, nuts and herbs. You can also take 4-5 tablets of activated carbon or other adsorbent – this will help remove a significant part of fusel oil and ethanol from the body.
Experts also advise not to drink alcohol when hungry and remind that alcohol retains water in the body, which means that those who drink alcohol will experience edema in the morning. As Roskoshestvo noted, fresh dill, parsley, and green leafy vegetables will help remove fluid from the body.
Experts noted that you should not mix different alcoholic drinks during a feast, and recommended to refrain from alcoholic cocktails, since mixing alcohol with sugar will become stressful for the body.
Roskoshestvo also recommended stopping food and alcohol intake 2-3 hours before going to bed so that the body has time to digest most of what has entered the stomach. “This means you’ll sleep better, wake up refreshed, and won’t suffer from a hangover or headache the next day,” experts say.
