In the areas of the KTO, a temporary restriction of the work of Internet resources is possible, a representative of Roskomnadzor told Vedomosti.
He added that currently the work of the Telegram messenger is not limited.
Previously, users began to complain about failures in the work of Telegram. This is evidenced by the statistics of the portal Downdetector (aggregates user complaints about the work of Internet resources). The number of complaints began to grow from 11 am Moscow time. 46% of complaints are related to the stability of the application, 23% – delays in sending messages.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense called on Wagner PMC fighters to “show prudence” and contact the ministry or law enforcement agencies in order to safely return to their permanent deployment points. The ministry noted that the Wagner fighters were “tricked into Prigozhin’s criminal adventure and participation in an armed rebellion”, and said that several people had already “realized their mistake” and asked for help “in ensuring the ability to safely return to their permanent deployment points” . Assistance has already been provided to them, the Ministry of Defense said.
