Roskomnadzor does not restrict the work of foreign search services in Russia, this also applies to Google, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the regulator.
Earlier in the work of Google in Russia on Saturday, a failure was recorded, data from the Downradar service testify to this. Users have complained about a general crash, problems logging into the site and into the account. Most complaints were received from users from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Novosibirsk.
“The work of foreign search services is not limited,” Roskomnadzor said, recommending contacting Google in connection with problems in the search engine.
The department also advised citizens of the Russian Federation to use exclusively Russian search solutions.
