The head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, said that the state corporation is considering the RAS proposal to create two Luna-27 spacecraft. He said this on the air of “Russia-24”
“The Academy of Sciences came up with a proposal to make two satellites – Luna-27a and Luna-27b – for reliability and to ensure the guaranteed completion of this mission,” he said.
According to him, the deadline is 2028. The landing site for the vehicles, according to plans, will be determined by the orbital Luna-26, work on it is in full swing. The launch is planned for 2027.
