Commenting on the successful launch of the first lunar space module in Russian history from the Vostochny cosmodrome, Yury Borisov, General Director of the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities, announced the launch dates for the next Russian automatic Luna stations.
According to him, the launch of Luna-26 is expected already in 2027, Luna-27 – in 2028, and Luna-28 – after 2030.
“The launch of Luna-25 has become a new page in the development of the Earth’s natural satellite… In the future, the Moon will be able to become a launch pad for deep space,” Borisov expressed confidence.
