Romir: expenses of Russians grow for three weeks in a row

As the results of the study of the think tank showed “Romir”, for the week of August 15-21, Russian household spending increased by 2.1% compared to the previous week. In annual terms, the index of weekly expenses “Romir” increased by 9.5% and amounted to 5536 rubles.

The center also recorded an increase in the average check index: over the period mentioned, it grew by 0.6% (up to 677 rubles). In annual terms, the indicator grew by 7.5%.

Thus, the expenses of the Russians are growing from the beginning of August. In July, Romir released an article in which explainedthat in June of this year the spending of Russian households increased by 5.2% compared to May. 47% of the total volume of Russians accounted for consumer goods.
