Matviychuk suspected Romania of helping with attacks on the Novocherkassk large landing ship

The Su-24 front-line bombers of the Ukrainian Air Force that attacked Feodosia could have flown in from Romania, stated in an interview with URA.RU, former intelligence officer, reserve colonel Anatoly Matviychuk.

“These aircraft were quite possibly transferred from an airfield in Ukraine to an airfield based in Romania. The fighters take off from there. There is a piece there where they cross the border of Romania and go into the patrol zone of Ukraine, so we don’t see that they are flying from Romania,” the military expert shared the details.

From the point of view of the publication’s interlocutor, the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces was prepared by a reconnaissance and sabotage group, because the missile arrived at the moment when the large landing ship (BDK) Novocherkassk was parked.

In addition, according to the analyst, the main goal of the attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on the port in Feodosia is to ruin the New Year holidays for Russians and to receive a new aid package from Western countries.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the large landing ship Novocherkassk was damaged in Feodosia while repelling an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on Crimea. According to the Russian military department, the Ukrainian army tried to strike the peninsula using aircraft guided missiles.
