Edition e1.ru reports that the former mayor of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman (included in the register of individuals-foreign agents on the territory of the Russian Federation) was released from arrest. It is noted that he served in the detention center for 14 days due to the publication on the social network VKontakte with a demonstration of symbols prohibited in the Russian Federation.
After leaving the isolation ward, Roizman recalled the saying that “you can’t renounce prison and scrip.” He also clarified that there is another, comforting saying that “people live in Siberia too.”
As the former head of Yekaterinburg noted, every person born in Russia should be “morally prepared to serve time.” Roizman added that he was not going to leave the country.
